Tangy Turkey Meatballs

I just love making these! They are extremely easy to make and are so super delicious!! The sauce is Mmmm Mmmm Good!!!

Ingredients Needed:
  • 2 lbs lean ground turkey
  • 1.5 cups seasoned whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 jar (12 oz) currant jelly
  • 1 jar (12 oz) chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Special Seasoning*

*Special Seasoning* (makes about 2/3 cup)
  • 2.5 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and save in a spice jar.


How to Make Them:
  • In a large bowl, combine crumbs and special seasoning. Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls. Place in a lightly greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Combine jelly and chili sauce; pour over meatballs.
  • Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink. Yield: about 5 dozen.
